i'm a software engineer based in brooklyn. i work at MongoDB on the database server team, with a focus on data replication. i'm broadly interested in distributed systems, databases, and high-performance software. i read a lot of science fiction, love learning about history, and play indie rock music. i also run, play volleyball and football regularly, and support liverpool FC. mostly, i love spending time with people i care about.
